FRENCH PRESS BREWING GUIDE

EQUIPMENT

400ml (three cup) glass French Press
Pouring Kettle
Stirrer
Serving Cups
Timer
Scales
350ml fresh boiled water
22g of coarsely ground coffee

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat the French Press and serving cups with boiled water.
  2. Once your French Press is warm, empty out the water and then add the coarsley ground coffee.

You are ready to brew!!!!!

00:00  Add the boiled water into your French Press stopping just short of the brim and stir steadily to soak the coffee and activate extraction.

Keep stirring for about two minutes.

02:00  Place the lid over the French Press, and push the plunger just under the surface of the liquid. This will contain the heat while your coffee brews. Let it sit for 30 seconds.

02:30  Push the plunger all the way down maintaining slow and steady pressure.

03:00  You are now ready to pour and serve your coffee. Enjoy!
