Moka Pot

Fresh boiled water
22g of fine grind coffee

PREPARATION

  1. Fill the bottom half of your Moka Pot with fresh boiled water.
  2. Place the metal portafilter inside the bottom component of the Moka Pot.
  3. Add your coffee and give it a gentle shake to settle and leveling it using your finger to distribute the coffee evenly.
  4. Screw on the Moka Pot’s top.

00:00 Place the Moka pot on a stove with medium heat.

04:00 When the water in the bottom chamber approaches a boil, the pressure will push a stream of coffee slowly through the upper chamber of the Moka Pot. If it explodes upward, then your water is too hot, if it streams slowly, then turn up your flame. You will know it’s ready when you hear a hissing and bubbling sound.

04:30 To stop the brew, run the base of the brewer under cold running water. Enjoy your coffee.
